Agnes B. Hill Obituary (1919 - 2004)

\ Mrs. Agnes B. Hill, 84, of Madisonville, KY died at 12:55 A.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the NHC Healthcare. \ Born June 16, 1919 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late Arnold Dawes and Ruby Tries Dawes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh H. Hill in October 1973; and two sisters, Katherine Crowley and Joyce Bell. \ Mrs. Hill was a former salesperson for Avon and a member of the Park Ave. Baptist Church. \ She is survived by one son, Hugh W. Hill of Mt. Prospect, IL, three sisters, Lucille Baer of Washington, PA, Nola Basinger of Owensboro, KY and Jean Tipton of Madisonville; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY. Pallbearers will be Todd Hill, Hugh Hill, Tory Hill and Greg Todd. \ Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home on Saturday until the service. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Silver Birch Ranch, N6120 Sawyer Lake Road, Silver Lake, WI, 54491. \ \
