Betty Jane Falk

\ Betty Jane Falk, 91, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. \ \ She was born May 19, 1922 in Memphis, TN to the late Julian Thomas Miller and Mary Elizabeth Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Murphy Falk, one son, James Jimmy' Thomas Falk, one sister, Marilyn 'Sis' Miller McFarland and one brother, Julian Thomas Miller Jr. \ \ Ms. Falk was a church secretary at Morton's Gap Christian Church. She also was the city clerk for the water department in Morton's Gap. \ \ She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty Winfree of Morton's Gap, KY and Clara Falk of Frankfort, KY; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, nephews Sonny McFarland & wife Sandra and nieces SaBrina, Ashley & Summer of Lenoir City Tennessee and John Johnson & wife Betty & great niece Kristy of Debary Fl also niece's Judy Miller Lerch of Eldorado Arkansas & Debbie (Vandy) Cameron of Austin Texas. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sandefur officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. \ \ Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. \ \ Memorial donations may be made to the Morton's Gap Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
