Betty L McGregor

Betty L. McGregor, 83, passed away on May 29, 2015, at her daughter's home in Hopkinsville, KY, surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 1, 1931, in Madisonville, KY, to Walter and Lethel Perkins. She was formally employed by Hopkins County Hospital. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 6 in Madisonville, and was a member of First General Baptist Church in Madisonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph McGregor; brother and sister-in-law, Denver and Helen Perkins; and sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Wayne Betts and two half-brothers, Paul and Earl Perkins.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Cobb and husband Mike from Elizabethtown; Celesta Williams and husband James of Hopkinsville; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Creamer, Brian and Marc Cobb, Kimberly McNeily and Michael Williams; 6 great grandchildren, Kayla Brashears and Kendra Terregrossa, Christian and Hannah Cobb, Faith and Hannah Williams; and 3 great great grandchildren, Rudy, Henry, and Noah.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. June 2, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral home in Madisonville with Brother Darrell officiating. Burial to follow at Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, KY.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2015 and from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
