Calvin L. Dortch

Calvin L. Dortch, 85, of St. Peters, MO, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011, in St. Charles, MO. \ He was born October 24, 1925, in Leachville, AR to the late Ira Lee Dortch and Beatrice Stella Gossett Dortch. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Embry Dortch, two brother, John W. Dortch and Leroy Pete Dortch and one sister, Ima Jean McCullough. \ Mr. Dortch was retired from McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) and a World War II Veteran where he received a Purple Heart \ He is survived by two daughters, Paula Johnson of St. Peters and her husband Larry and Sherri Pelecanos of Bolder, CO; three grandchildren, Brian, Eric and Sophia and three great grandchildren, Evan, Isaac and Caleb. \ Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Hobgood officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. \
