Carl Bradley Utley Obituary (1924 - 2011)

Mr. Carl Bradley Utley 86, of Madisonville, passed away Thursday May 26, 2011 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. \ He was born July 29, 1924 in Dalton, KY. He was born to the late Benjamin Roy and Robie Alice Tapp Utley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lillian, along with three brothers. \ Mr. Utley was a U.S. Army WW II veteran and was employed as a land surveyor at Donan Engineering for 50 years. \ He is survived by one son, Charles (Paula) Utley of Madisonville, one grandchild, Jason (Amy) Meredith of Louisville, KY, and one great grandchild Nicole Meredith. \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. \ Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Graveside military services will be conducted by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. \ Memorial donations may be made to Pet Lovers United in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
