Charles R. Stuart

Mr. Charles Ragon Stuart, 74, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 10:50 P.M., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born September 2, 1932, in Diamond, KY, he was the son of the late Jay William Stuart and Emma White Stuart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. \ He was a member of the First Christian Church in Providence, KY, and retired after 35 years with Bell South. He was also a realtor with Stuart Real Estate and a U. S. Air Force veteran. \ Mr. Stuart is survived by his wife Linda Waddell Stuart of Madisonville; one daughter, Fonda Beth Stuart of Madisonville; two sons, Jerry R. Stuart of Hanson, KY, and Ken Stuart of Sebree, KY, and seven grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Friday, March 16, 2007, at 11:00 A.M., at the First Christian Church in Providence with Bro. Kim Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the First Christian Church Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2007, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Friday at the church. \ Pallbearers will be Mr. Stuarts grandchildren. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the First Christian Church in Providence.
