Charlotte Lee Adams Obituary (1921 - 2010)

\ Mrs. Charlotte Lee Adams, 89, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at The Paragon in Madisonville. \ She was born October 25, 1921 in Trigg Co., KY to the late William Bryant Stewart and Ethel Mitchell Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Eugene Adams, Sr. \ Mrs. Adams owned and operated Charlottes Web. She was a longtime member of the Hanson Baptist Church in Hanson. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a lifetime member of the Kentucky PTA. She also received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award. She was an avid rook player. \ She is survived by two daughters, Janet (Tim) Vaughn of Hanson and Suzie (Eddie) McCrady of Hanson; two sons, Herschel Eugene Adams, Jr. of Ashbyburg, KY and Thomas (Judy) Adams of Hanson; one brother, William Jinx Stewart of Trigg Co., KY; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren along with her extended family, the staff and residents of the Paragon of Madisonville. \ Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Branson and Rev. Dan Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Thomas Adams, Tim Vaughn, Josh Adams, Eddie McCrady, Jason Adams and Jimmy Futrell \
