Chesley Williams Riddle Sr. Obituary (1930 - 2018)

Chesley Williams Riddle, Sr., 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at his residence in Madisonville. He was born on July 21, 1930 in Madisonville to the late J. Craig Riddle and Amy Williams Riddle. He was also preceded in death by one brother, J. Craig Riddle, Jr. Chesley was the owner of the J. Craig Riddle Insurance. He was a lifelong golfer, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, who never met a stranger with his infectious laugh. Chesley was an all around great sportsman. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jo Riddle; two sons, Chesley (Denise) Riddle Jr, and Jimmy (Kenwyn) Riddle; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one niece, Susan (Larry) Wilson, and one nephew, Chip (Martha) Riddle. Private services for Mr. Riddle were held by the family. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Association or the Kentucky Golf Foundation.
