Dallas W. Crabtree Obituary (1935 - 2007)

Mr. Dallas W. Crabtree, 72, of Wood Dale, IL, died Friday, September 7, 2007, at his home. \ Born February 8, 1935, in Madisonville, KY, he was the son of the late Basil T. Crabtree and Lillian Lovelace Crabtree. \ Mr. Crabtree retired from Continental Can White Cap after 42 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and an avid golfer. \ He is survived by his wife, Sandra Witherspoon Crabtree; a daughter, Beth OBrien; two sisters, Faye Simmons and Brenda Scott; two brothers, Bob Crabtree and Terry Crabtree and many nieces & nephews. \ Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the American Lung Association, 1440 West Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607. \
