David H. Dugger, Sr.

Mr. David H. Dugger, Sr., 75, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:35 P.M., Friday, August 14, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. \ He was born October 4, 1933 in Madisonville to the late Lemuel Voney Dugger and Florence Key Dugger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jane Willyard Dugger; two brothers, Lemuel V. and John Dugger; one sister, Mary Anna Rickard; one niece. \ Mr. Dugger was a retired oil businessman in Madisonville and a member of the First Christian Church in Madisonville. \ He is survived by two daughters, Denise A. (Leamen) Griffin of Birmingham, AL and Virginia (Reed) Savidge of Sarasota, FL; one son, David H. (Kim) Dugger, II of Earlington, KY; three sisters, Mary N. Watts and Laura Stewart both of Madisonville and Wanda R. Collings of Beech Grove, KY; four nephews, five nieces; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. \ The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 17, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Door of Hope. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
