Donald Eugene Moore Obituary (1945 - 2016)

Donald Eugene Moore, 71, of Madisonville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Moore was born March 5, 1945 in Madisonville to the late Bracie O. Davis and Rosie Pleasant Davis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Locke. He was a member of the Truth Apostolic Church. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 15 years. He enjoyed being outside and going to church. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Moore; two daughters, Lynn Moore of Madisonville and Sarah (Jerry) Cummins of Madisonville; one son, James (Tricia) Moore of Nortonville, KY; two sisters, Nancy White of Richland, KY and Patsy Davis of Madisonville; one brother, Nelson (Gloria) Davis of Chandler, IN; five grandchildren, Aaron, Kevin and Brittany Cummins and Jase and Greyson Moore; and several nieces and nephews. He was raised by Richard and Dolly Moore. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Praise Temple in Madisonville with Bro. Michael Orton officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
