Dudley Hendricks

Dudley Ray Hendricks, 78, of Hanson, KY passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY.
He was born November 29, 1939 in Muhlenberg County, KY to the late Jesse Herman Hendricks and Mattie Lee Hendricks. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Freda Alexander, Emma Bowles, Dean Watson, Martha Henderson, Willodean Hendricks, and Millodean Hendricks and his brothers, Carlos Hendricks, Robert Hendricks, Jess Hendricks, and Brenda Hendricks.
Dudley worked at Riverqueen as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed talking to and encouraging people. He loved people and loved his kids. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his grandkids and being outdoors with his horses
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Teresa Hendricks; one daughter, Shaune (Richard) Griffin of Greenville, KY; one son, Brad (Misty) Pryor of Hanson; one sister, Nelva Bradley; three brothers, Marvin (Diane) Hendricks of Cadiz, KY, Emmitt (Linda) Hendricks of Madisonville, and Ronnie (Rebecca) Hendricks of Hanson; six grandchildren, Morgan (Daniel) Murphy, Nicholas (Holly) Griffin, Mackenzie Griffin, Shae Pryor, Taylor Pryor, and Tanner Pryor; and one great grandchild, Zaylee Murpy.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Robbie Knox and Bro. Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow at Hanson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Shae Pryor, Nicholas Griffin, Hunter Robinson, Brad Pryor, Daniel Murphy, and Willis Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Lighthouse Youth Group. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
