Earl John Wolfe

Earl John Wolfe, 72 of Dawson Springs, KY passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at his residence.
He was born October 27, 1946 in West Helena, AR to the late Earl John Wolfe, Sr. and Nellie Mitchell Wolfe. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Macie Duncan Wolfe; two brothers, Herbert Foster and Jodie Talley; and one sister, Carolyn Doster.
Mr. Wolfe was a US Navy Veteran and a retired mechanic from Carhartt. He loved restring old cars, was a self proclaimed finder and seeker, and loved his dogs.
He is survived by his companion and soul mate of 29 years, Carolyn Rolle; one daughter, Lana (Dan Robinson) Wolfe of Madisonville; one brother, Edward Wolfe of Saltville, VA; one grandson, Evan Robinson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral home with Rev. James Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Manitou.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Doster, Charles French, Dan Robinson, Pembroke Foster, and Dwight Holeman.
