Edward Ray Moore

Mr. Edward Ray Moore, 77, of Nortonvile, KY died at 9:15 P.M. Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born June 25, 1927 in Christian Co., KY he was the son of the late Oscar Moore and Montie Matheny Moore. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Mule Moore and one sister, Imogene Moore. \ He was a retired coal miner for Island Creek Coal Company and a lifelong member of the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle. He was a member of the U.M.W.A. and the N.H. Shaw Masonic Lodge # 608 F&AM. \ He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Moore Lee of Nortonville, KY; one son, David Moore of Clay, KY; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Marshall Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the service at the funeral home. \ \ \
