Eula Strahl

Eula Strahl , 90 of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

Ms. Strahl was born on October 6, 1933 in Tell City, IN to the late Judge Emory and Clara Louise Rohrscheib Terry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Strahl; her daughter, Cindy Lou Strahl; her brother, Emmett Terry; and her sisters, Lou Emma Keith, Susie Henson, and Betty Lasher; and her great granddaughters Ophelia Carman, and Oaklynn Koon.

Eula worked as a Janitor in Madisonville until her retirement. She also was a Jehovah's Witness and loved sharing with others about her faith. When she was not witnessing, she loved spending time with her grandkids, which were her entire world. She also loved to travel, and do word searches.

She is survived by her son, Doug (Karen) Strahl of Madisonville; she was also survived by two daughters, Audrey (Richard) Carman of Madisonville; and Denise (Terry) Morris of Madisonville; her sisters, Norma Stapleton, Patty James, Gertie Leinenbach, Rosie Lotts, and Violet Adkins and eleven grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday July 5, 2024, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday July 6, 2024 at the funeral home.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday July 6, 2024 with Bro. Chris Slaton officiating. And burial will follow at Nebo Cemetery in Nebo, KY.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Alonzo, Douglas Koon, Albert Carman, Brian Morris, Matthew Morris, Jody Morris, Jorge Luis Herrera-Ruedas, and Fredy Menjivar.
