Evelyn E. Joines Obituary (1919 - 2004)

Mrs. Evelyn Joines, 84, of Madisonville, KY died at 10:36 P.M. Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born December 19, 1919 in Todd County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Freeman Y. Baggett and Jessie Williams Baggett. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Weatherford in 1965 and by her second husband, Jimmie Thomas Joines on November 12, 1998 and one sister, Ruby Greenwood. \ She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. \ She is survived by four daughters; Shirley Holeman Parish of Nebo, Joyce Burbage of Madisonville, Alice Sue Lynch of Anton and Earnestine Tina Robertson of Madisonville; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Rance Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Muhlenberg County, KY. Pallbearers will be grandsons. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to the service time. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Bethany Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
