Gary W. Jenkins Obituary (1956 - 2005)

Mr. Gary W. Jenkins, 48, of Madisonville, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at his home. \ He was born September 28, 1956, in Henderson, KY. Mr. Jenkins was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY, and had been a paper carrier for the Messenger in Madisonville. \ He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Gail Jenkins on September 27, 1991. \ Mr. Jenkins is survived by his father and step-mother, Don and Geraldine Jenkins of Evansville, IN; his mother, Charlotte Jenkins Hamby of Madisonville; three daughters, Rachael Tara Anderson of Madisonville, and Tiffani Rose Jenkins and DeAnn Page Jenkins, both of Nebo, KY; one step-daughter, Natasha D. Dame of Manitou, KY; one half-sister, Stacey McClellan of Owensville, IN; two brothers, Terry K. Jenkins of Madisonville, and Danny R. Hamby of Nashville, TN; and five grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Thursday, February 3, 2005, at 10:00 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2005, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral time on Thursday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Danny Hamby, Terry Jenkins, Ricky Hamby, Doug Bryant, Isaac Oakley, and Tony Soloman. \
