Granville E. Polley

Mr. Granville E. Polley, 89, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 11:50 A.M., Monday, July 5, 2010, at his residence. \ He was born August 8, 1920 in Madisonville, KY to the late Ivy and Lucy Ellen Trotter Polley. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Blanche Brown and two brothers, Aubrey and Cecil Polley. \ Mr. Polley was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville He was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Masonic Lodge #143, Rizpah Shrine, Scottish Rite, Disabled American Veterans, Royal Arch Commanders, American Legion and Sons of American Revolution. \ He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ruth Dame Polley; one daughter, Delores (Doug) Crabtree; one grandson, Marc Crabtree and one brother, Everett Polley, all of Madisonville. \ The funeral service and visitation will be private. Entombment at Forest Lawn Mausoleum will follow at a later time. \ Due to family allergies, please do not send fresh cut flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502. \
