Ima West Clayton Obituary (1923 - 2007)

Mrs. Ima Clayton, 84, of Madisonville, KY died at 4:50 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born July 12, 1923 in Warrick County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Claude West and Delta Hart West. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Edward West Sr. on May 10, 1992. \ She was a former cashier for the Hopkins County Hospital and worked in the lunchroom at the Hanson Elementary School. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church. \ She is survived by her husband, Arthur Bishop Clayton of Madisonville; one daughter, Linda Sue Webb of Madisonville; one son, Larry Bishop Clayton of Hartford, KY; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Elders Kenneth Blevins and Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanson Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and on Thursday after 8:30 A.M. at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
