James E. \J.J.\"" Jennings Obituary (1950 - 2013)

\ James E. 'J.J' Jennings, 63, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. \ He was born January 15, 1950 to the late Sam and Jesse Frances Offutt Jennings. He was also preceded in death by a brother in law, Dr. E.S. Coleman. \ Mr. Jennings was a Navy Vietnam Veteran and a self-employed mechanic, a member of the Western Kentucky Power Association, 2 Cylinder Club, and Bethlehem Christian Church, where he previously served as a deacon. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed restoring antique John Deere tractors. \ He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jennings of Madisonville; one daughter, Stephanie (Andy) Crawford of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Shelby and Casey Crawford both of Madisonville; three sisters, Linda Coleman and Elaine Revelett both of Sacramento, KY and Sue Baxter of Madisonville; and one brother, Sidney Jennings of Sacramento. \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral home with Bro. Steve Sandefur and Barry Slaton officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Hopkins County Honor Guard. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the funeral home and after 12:00 until service time on Wednesday. \ Pallbearers will be Shannon Coleman, Bruce Baldwin, Reese Revelett, Daryl Revelett, Mark Offutt, Jamie Rickard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Butch Clayton, Kenneth Hancock, Bob Brown, Chris Rickard, and Daniel Cartwright. \
