Jeanne Roberts

Jeanne Roberts, 89, of Madisonville passed away on June 25, 2024 in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born Jeanne Rhae Scott to Herbert and Norma Scott, March 24, 1935 in Sturgis, Kentucky. She graduated from Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama before moving to Madisonville with her parents. Soon after, she met and married Charles Roberts of Mortons Gap.
She was a long time employee of Farmers Bank in Madisonville. She, also, was owner/operator of Body Boutique, Circle R Transports, and a Steak-Out Franchise. She was a lifelong and faithful Baptist. She loved spending time with family and friends and her home was often filled with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roberts, her parents, son Keith Roberts (Sara), brother Herbert Scott, Jr., sisters, Bonnie Riley and Alma Askew. She is survived by her sons Toby Roberts, Kevin Roberts, and daughter-in-law Sara Roberts. Also, a beloved sister-in-laws, Emma Jean Scott, Sandra Dupree and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 29, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Sellers and Rev. Kara Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
