Jeffrey Lee Oakley Obituary (1967 - 2015)

\ Jeffrey Lee Oakley, 47, of Hanson, KY passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at Riverwalk Nursing Home in Noblesville, IN. \ He was born on July 29, 1967 in Madisonville, KY to Carlis Oakley and Paula McConnell Skinner. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine and Marshall Oakley, and Coleman and Bonnie McConnell. \ Mr. Oakley worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Eddyville. \ He is survived by his father and step-mother, Carlis and Shannon Oakley of Hanson; mother, Paula Skinner of Indianapolis, IN; two sons, Marshall and Alec Oakley of Eddyville, KY; three sisters, Heather (Banks) Ray of Hanson, KY, Tandy (Rev. Scott) Burr of Owensville, IN, and Monica (Matt) Brase of Indianapolis; and three brothers, Jason Oakley of Noblesville, Jerrad (Lisa) Oakley of Greenville, SC, and Jack (Heather) Whitfield Jr. of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Sandefur officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY. \ Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Monday at the funeral home. \
