Kostas Tambouridis Obituary (1958 - 2015)

Beloved father and grandfather "Papou" passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky. Age 57 years. Son of Aggeliki (Samaridou) Tambouridis and the late Orfeas Tambouridis, Kostas was born April 25, 1958 in Lukeion, Greece. He was a contractor by trade, restaurateur, enjoyed home projects, his cat "Foxy" and especially spending time with his loved ones. Surviving to cherish his memory are three daughters and one son, Angela (Christos) Tambouridis, Phil (Lara) Tambouridis, Evie (John) Charboneau, and Peggy (Thomas) Tambouridis and their mother, Elaine Tambouridis; six grandchildren, Argyris, James, Brennan, Kostas, Vivienne and George; his mother, Aggeliki Tambouridis; one sister and two brothers, Fotoula (Stavros) Fassianos, Tryfon (Sia) Tambouridis, Leonidas (Dimitra) Tambouridis; his fiance, Terri Morgan and her son Cameron; and his extended family in America and Greece. He was preceded in death by his niece, Mariangela. There will be a visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY. Funeral Service will take place 12:00 noon Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4970 Mackinaw, Saginaw, Michigan. Fr. Timothy Cook will officiate with burial in Forestlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
