Lisa Jane Scott

Ms. Lisa Jane Scott, 45, of Madisonville, KY died Monday, November 17, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at her residence. \ She was born June 27, 1963 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Thomas Tompkins and Helen (Forker) Tompkins of Madisonville. In addition to her father, Ms. Scott was also preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Tompkins and one niece, Heather Hibbs. \ She was of Baptist faith. \ She is survived by her mother, Helen Tompkins of Madisonville; three daughters, Amie Gibson and Ashley Oglesby both of Madisonville, Kaylee Scott of Coconut Creek, FL; one son, Michael Camacho of Madisonville; eight sisters, Mary Harris of Hanson, KY, Betty Shaw, Martha Holmes, Dora Johnston, Janada Mitchell, Glenda Holmes, Carol Peavler and Melissa Schwartzlose all of Madisonville; one brother, James Tompkins of Hanson; three grandchildren, Caleb Gibson, Joshua Gibson and Lyndon Henley all of Madisonville; her best friends, Mary McKenzie and Terri Lilly both of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Sassafras Cemetery in Onton, KY. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Brian Gibson, Michael Camacho, Rick Henley, Cody Peavler, William Thomas and Terrance Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Gibson, Joshua Gibson, Lyndon Henley and Joey Schwartzlose. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to Integra Bank, Lisa Scott Memorial Fund, 1760, North Main Street, Madisonville KY 42431. \
