Lois Pauline Whitfield Obituary (1915 - 2009)

Mrs. Lois Pauline Whitfield, 94, of Madison, TN passed away at 11:55 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN. \ She was born August 27, 1915 in Trigg Co., KY to the late Nola A. Pleasant and Ota White Pleasant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Whitfield; three brothers, Earl, Bernard and John Pleasant. \ Mrs. Whitfield was a longtime member of the Madisonville Church of Christ. \ She is survived by her son, Julian Dale Whitfield of Madison, TN; one sister, Mary Neyman of Apison, TN; two grandsons, Scott Whitfield of Eauclaire, WI and Patrick Whitfield of Denver, CO; two great grandchildren, Heather and Kyle Whitfield of Eauclaire. \ Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs with Russell Kline officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Robert Earl Pleasant, Billy Clayton, Bob Harrison, Bill Easton, Steve Eakins and Mike Griffith. \
