Lola Delaine Barnett Obituary (1921 - 2010)

Mrs. Lola Delaine Barnett, 88, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:10 A.M., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ She was born October 18, 1921 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Melvin Sadler and Myrtle Johnson Sadler. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lucian C. Barnett; one son, Roger Barnett and two brothers, Bailey and Elgin Sadler. \ Mrs. Barnett was a member of White Plains Missionary Baptist Church in White Plains and attended the Bethany Baptist Church in Madisonville. \ She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Carroll Jr.) Larkins of Dawson Springs, Reva (Roger) Lipford of Madisonville and Sharon (Robert) Crick of Mortons Gap; two sons, James (Dianna) Barnett of Madisonville and Danny (Tracy) Barnett of Rumsey; one sister, Ann Beebe of Hopkinsville; one brother, Johnson Sadler of Hopkinsville; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday and 12:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Marc Barnett, Nathan Crick, Steve Cook, Kenny Cook, Adam Miller and Kerry Oliver. \
