Louise Jennings Obituary (1915 - 2007)

Mrs. Louise Jennings, 92, of New Harmony, IN, formerly of Madisonville, KY died at 9:50 A.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the Ford House in New Harmony. \ Born January 21, 1915 in Ashbyburg, KY to the late Osby Washington Walker and Sally Anne Wedding Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Herman Jennings in 1991 one daughter, Charlotte Crutcher in 2004 and one son, Fred Jennings in 1984, one sister and four brothers. \ Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Madisonville since 1971 and a member of the Eastern Star #243 of Nortonville, KY. \ Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Linda Morris of New Harmony and Debbie Jennings of Denver, CO; two sisters, Pearline Mead of Hemet, CA and Katherine Light of Evansville, IN; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. J.D. Holt officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, or Gideons.
