Mable E. "Lynn" Moore Obituary (1947 - 2016)

Mable E. Lynn 'Lener' Moore, 69, of Madisonville passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital. Ms. Moore was born March 10, 1947 in White Plains, KY to the late Clifford Moore and Rosie Mae Mannahan. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She had worked at several occupations and was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. She was a U.K. fan and enjoyed the Smokey Mountains, quilting, and collecting Indian stuff. She is survived by her companion of 38 years, Larry Blanchard; two sisters, Roenna 'Boonie' Blankenship of White Plains and Lucy Carroll of White Plains; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Beeny officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Frankie Rust, Johnny Key, Rengy Key, Scotty Key, Nick Allen, and Willis Allen. Honorary pallbearer will be Delaney Brasher. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
