Margaret Clark Kington

Mrs. Margaret Clark Kington of Madisonville, KY died at 8:00 A.M. November 16, 2004 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born April 9, 1918 in Marion County, KY she was the daughter of the late James Watts Clark and Maggie Dell Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Bill Kington and her sister, Nancy Armstrong. \ She taught Algebra and Geometry at the Madisonville High School until retirement. She was a member of the Madisonville First Baptist Church, the Hopkins County Historical Society, the Garden Club, D.A.R. and P.E.O. She was a University of Kentucky Graduate and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. \ She is survived by her daughter; Janet Warren of Nicholasville, KY; her sons, Barry Kington and Hayes Kington, both of Madisonville; her sister, Mable Collier of Henderson, KY; her seven grandchildren; Graves Dickey, Elizabeth Dickey Jones, David Dickey, Clark Kington, Sarah Margaret Kington, Ellen Kington and Paige Kington; and her two great-grandchildren, Nathan Jones and Lila Jones. \ Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Monroe Slaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Graves Dickey, David Dickey, Clark Kington, Randy Jones, Jim Collier and Ben Shouse. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
