Mary Denton Obituary (1944 - 2023)

Mary Denton, 79, of Providence, KY passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at her residence in Providence. She was born August 16, 1944 in Kuttawa, KY to the late Dewey Brown and Louise Doom Brown. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Dalton. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Denton; two daughters, Kathy Dalton of Providence and Tracey (Mickey) Knowles of Providence; four grandchildren, Adam and Nicholas Dalton and Hank and Derek Knowles; and four great grandchildren, Andrea, Andrew, Echo, and Caius. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home - Providence Chapel with Bro. Ralph Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery in Clay, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home in Providence. Pallbearers will be Adam Dalton, Nicholas Dalton, Hank Knowles, and Derek Knowles.
