Melvin L. Frederick Obituary (1928 - 2010)

Mr. Melvin L. Frederick, 81, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:40 P.M., Thursday, January 7, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born December 25, 1928 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Hurschel and Carrie King Fredrick. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Frederick in 2004. \ Mr. Frederick was a coal traffic supervisor for P & M Coal Company. \ He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Medich of Pittsburgh, PA; one son, Rodger Frederick of Dallas, TX; one step daughter, Rayma Huffman of Princeton, IN; one step son, Walter Sisk of Madisonville; one brother, Donald Fredrick of Hopkinsville, KY; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. \ Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 12, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. J.D. Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday and after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. \
