Mildred O. Bearden Obituary (1918 - 2010)

Mrs. Mildred O. Bearden, 91, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1:05 P.M., Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. \ She was born December 11, 1918 in Webster County, KY, near Onton to the late Thomas J. and Stella K. Oglesby. She was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband, J. Ottis Bearden and in 1994 by one grandson, Jeffrey D. Bearden. \ Mrs. Bearden was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for over 60 years. She also enjoyed quilting. \ She is survived by two sons, Jesse C. (Sandy) Bearden of Madisonville and Jim (Carrie) Bearden of Louisville, KY; one grandson, Jason W. Bearden of Charleston, SC; two granddaughters, Robyn Richardson of Dawson Springs and Cheree Ball of Kirksville, MO; two great granddaughters, Alexa Ball of Kirksville, MO and Emma Nell Fleming of Madisonville; three great grandsons, Edward T Sanchez of Dawson Springs and Zack and Ryan Ball of Kirksville, MO as well as other nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Strader officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Saturday and noon until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund, 5940 Nebo Road, Madisonville KY 42431. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
