Otis Lee Leavell Obituary (1920 - 2005)

Mr. Otis L. Chicken Leavell, 85, of Hanson, KY died at 1:40 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2005 at the Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. \ He was born May 10, 1920 in Clarksville, TN. \ He was employed by the Ruby family in Madisonville for over 50 years. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion #Post 6. He was also an avid golfer. \ He is survived by one cousin, Rev. Howard Bell of Hopkinsville, KY. \ Graveside services were held Monday at the West Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. \ Barnett-Strother Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. \ \
