Peggy Day McCracken

Peggy Day McCracken, 80 of Madisonville, KY passed away Saturday February 20, 2016 at her residence.
She was born September 1, 1935 in Madisonville to the late Elvis Bert Day and Ella Duff Neal Day. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Basil Wayne McCracken in 2014, one sister, Patricia Proctor Ricketts, and one grandson, Chris Campbell, Jr.
Peggy was of Baptist faith, she was a Self Employed Court Recorder and she worked for the Kentucky Highway Department. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel with her family especial when they would go to the beach.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Randy (Debbie) McCracken of Henderson and Barry (Risa) McCracken of Hanson, one daughter, Karen (Chris) Campbell of Slaughters, one brother, Roy (Sue) Day, nine grandchildren; Melissa Wilson, Michelle Ralph, Ashley Niswonger, Erin McCracken, Barrett McCracken, Matt McCracken, Brian Wilkerson, Tyler Wilkerson, and Laura Jo Gibson, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at a later date.
