Rachel Katherine Austin

Miss Rachel Katherine Austin, 9, of Madisonville, KY died at 11:15 P.M. on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at her home. \ She was born August 29, 1996 in Henderson, KY . \ She had attended Hanson Elementary School and was a Hanson Hunter. She was a member of Christian Assembly and was the inspiration for a Worldwide Prayer Blanket and Bracelet Ministry. \ She is survived by her parents, Joe and Michele Charles Austin; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lou Austin of Madisonville; her maternal grandparents, Tommy and Capitola Charles of Hopkinsville, KY; her maternal great-grandparents, Woodson and Lola West of Hopkinsville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at Christian Assembly Church with Pastor Roy Ellis and Pastor Calvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Austin Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Russell, Michael Phillips, Roby Vowell, Matt Charles, Gary Russell and Bill Austin. \ Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Christian Assembly Church and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Christian Assembly Church. \
