Ramona D. Lantaff Obituary (1929 - 2004)

Mrs. Ramona D. Lantaff, 74, of Madisonville, KY died at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at her home. \ Born August 30, 1929 in Hopkins County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Elvis Dockery and Edna Lee Carner Dockery. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, C.O. Nipple; her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. M.L. Carner and one 7 1/2 month old daughter, Teresa Diann Lantaff in 1958. \ She was a homemaker and a member of the Madisonville First Baptist Church. She retired as a pharmacist assistant from Robards Drugstore and had previous jobs with Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Co. and worked for Trover Clinic in the chart room. \ She is survived by her husband, James F. Jimmy Lantaff of Madisonville; three daughters and one son-in-law, Mona and Johnny Hardison, Crystal Tyson and Shannon Owen, all of Madisonville. \ Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 20, 2004, Jim and Ramonas 50th Wedding Anniversary, with George Thompson, Chaplain, Green River Hospice officiating at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandchildren; Denise Hardison, Brad Tyson, Joshua Gossett, Lindsay Gossett, Bryce Owen, Alex Owen and David LeVasseur. John B. Hardison and Braedyn Tyson, great-grandsons will be Honorary pallbearers. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
