Richard A. Dunham

Mr. Richard A. Dunham, 89, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 5:27 P.M., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born March 17, 1920 Owego, NY, to the late William H. Dunham and Sarah Mericle Dunham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ross Spain Dunham. \ Mr. Dunham was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. \ He was a machinist for Birmingham Bolt. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. \ He is survived by one step-daughter, Sara Ross Spain (Raymond) Taylor of Evansville, IN; one step-son, Thomas B. (Frances) Spain of Madisonville; one niece, Becky Dunham of Ithaca, NY; five step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Lorton officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
