Ruth Isabel (Billie) Grimm Obituary (1923 - 2010)

Mrs. Ruth Isabel (Billie) Grimm, 86, of Madisonville, KY formerly of Cadiz, KY passed away at 4:35 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at her residence. \ She was born December 8, 1923 in Sturgis, KY to the late Ray and Ona Pearl Davidson Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Barnett Grimm in 1989; one son, Gary Grimm in 1983; two sisters, Catherine Hearin and Jewell Poole; one brother, Dennis Walker. \ Mrs. Grimm was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville. She was a beautician, member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Madisonville and a School Crossing Traffic Patrol Lady for Hall and Broadway Elementary Schools. \ She is survived by one son, Raymond (Vicki) Grimm of Madisonville; one sister, Betty Ann Tems of Lexington, KY; three brothers, Don (Betty Jo) Walker of Lexington, Jim (Anita) Walker of Hopkinsville and J.K. (Mary) Walker of Hamilton, OH; two grandchildren, Alex of Evansville, IN and Addisson of Madisonville and many nieces and nephews. \ Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville with Bro. Lloyd Tucker officiating. \ A time of gathering with the Grimm Family will be Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the service time. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Green River Hospice.
