Sarah \Janie\"" Rickard Obituary (1938 - 2013)

\ Sarah Jane Rickard, 74, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at her Baptist Health in Madisonville. \ She was born August 2, 1938 in Roane Co., TN, to the late William Ray Renfro and Willie Mae Keylon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garland Dempsey Rickard; one son, Johnny Rickard; son in law, Joseph Anzalone; great grandaughter, Shaylee Townsell and several siblings. \ Mrs. Rickard was a surgical nurse at Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Pond River Baptist Church, a piano player, loved gardening, quilting, raising kids, and Nascar races. \ She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Bobby) Duncan of Madisonville; Donna Sutton of Madisonville and Diane (Bill) Davis of Madisonville; one son, Mike (Lori) Rickard of Madisonville; one sister, Judy (Delbert) Fireline of Dawson Springs, KY; son in law, Mike Sutton and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. \ Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Pierce. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be John Plunkett, Richard Daugherty, Ricky Daugherty, Shane Cates, Bobby Duncan, Troy Doolin, Bill Davis, and Danny Sellers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Crook, Adam Sutton, Mike Sutton, Phillip Bryant, and J.R. Daugherty. \ Memorial contributions may be made to Sarah Rickard Trust. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home. The family would also like to thank Baptist Health for their overwhelming support. \
