Theresa McMican

–

Madisonville, KY

Theresa Diane McMican, 57, of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 28, 2021 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky.

Theresa was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on April 13, 1963 to the late Lawrence Clinton Hunt and the late Paula Diane Harris Hunt.

Theresa enjoyed working from home via the internet. She loved her job in customer service and she was really good at it.

She was a very honest, caring person who loved God and loved people. She was usually positive and upbeat with a smile on her face. She had great empathy for others. She had the ability to laugh with them, cry with them, and feel with them what they were feeling. While not materially wealthy she had a generous and giving heart, willing to share all she had and to truly give of herself.

During these last few years of her life she herself was in need of much assistance. It was a difficult time for her, but God always blessed and provided through the many people who come forward and gave of themselves. She was very thankful and appreciative for everything given and all that was done for her. The list would be too lengthy to print here, but you all know who you are. Thank you so much and may God bless you, each and every one.

During her lifetime she was involved with and regularly attended several churches in Madisonville. She went to Liberty Baptist Church with her grandparents. Later as a young adult she was a member of Hall Street Apostolic Church, and next, New Life Fellowship, and then Living Waters Church where she attended as long as she was able. After that, she attended via the internet with Grafted In Assembly in Madisonville and Turning Point Church in Surprise, Arizona.

These churches had great influence in her life and she loved worshiping And learning with other believers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorn and Virginia Hunt; Roy and Margie Harris; her brother Ricky Lawrence Hunt; three uncles, Ricky Harris, James Hunt, and John Hunt.

She is survived by her son Christopher Wells; two aunts, Ruby Hunt Bartley of Madisonville, and Judy Hunt Davis (Ken) of New Jersey; two unofficial adopted sisters, Patty Gibson of Arizona and Tonya Brown of Madisonville; four Fur-babies, Charlie, Sophie, Molly, and Stripe.

Cremation was by Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, 2285 North Main Street, Madisonville, Kentucky.

Memorial service will be 3PM, Friday, April 9, 2021, at Real Life Church, 3505 Hanson Rd, Madisonville, Kentucky, with Tonya Brown, minister officiating.
