Vivian Helen West

Vivian Helen West, 62, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 after a battle with medical issues that weakened her loving heart.
She was born on September 15, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late Ima Eugene McIntire and Helen Rose (Szarek) McIntire. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edwin West.
She was a stay at home mother for many years and later went on to become a nursing caregiver. She recently retired from the Western Kentucky Veterans Center, where she was beloved by residents and co-workers alike.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (James) Jones of Olive Branch, MS, Melissa (Joe) Gorski of Round Lake, IL, Jason (Tabatha) West of Machesney Park, IL, and Krystal (Dustin) Loukota of Madisonville; two sisters, Karen VanSickle and Judy McIntire, both of Illinois; and two brothers, Steven McIntire of Illinois and Bill McIntire of California.
She left a legacy of grandchildren; Donavin, Justin, Delena, Micheal, Cameron, Logan, Ashlyn, Krista, Addysen, Londyn, chelsea, Michaela, James, and Dillan. She also has two great-grandchildren; Ava and Zendaya.
A celebration of Life Service will be held on 4:00 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Holeman officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
