Wilgus Wade Hogg Obituary (1939 - 2018)

Wilgus Wade Hogg, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. He was born on January 1, 1939, in Whitesburg, KY to Gladys Whittaker Hogg of Frostburg, FL, and the late Isaac Hogg. Wilgus worked as a worldwide marketing manager for Fantastic Sam's. He also worked as an auto restorer. He enjoyed writing and even had one published book. He substitute taught, teaching English and Math. He enjoyed fly fishing and was a U.K. fan. He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Hogg; one son, Wilgus Wade (Amber) Hogg II of Madisonville; one sister, Peggy Breuninger of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Steven Isaac Hogg of Florida; one granddaughter, Ailise Hogg; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Monday, January 8, 2018, at the Madisonville Church of Christ.
