Wilma Elvera Werner

Wilma Elvera Werner, 96, of Henderson, KY passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson.
She was born February 26, 1921 in Reno, IL to the late William Price and Alice Nancy Hayley Price. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Warner; one son, Richard Wayne Werner; and several brothers and sisters.
Wilma made her living as a homemaker. She portrayed Dolly Madison in Madisonville Days.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosa Leta (Scott) Genack of Kenosha, WI and Bonnie Jean (Daniel) Pierson of Henderson, KY; and four grandchildren, J.R. Werner, Catherine 'Drew' Bealmear, Brian Genack, and Sean Genack.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Chaplain Thomas Emerson. Barnett-Strother Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
