Anna Margaret Locke Obituary (1932 - 2004)

Mrs. Anna Margaret Locke, 72, of Madisonville, KY died at her home at 10:15 A.M. Tuesday, August 17, 2004 \ Born June 11, 1932 in Muhlenberg County, KY she was the daughter of the late Willie Bill Vincent and Dollie Calvert Vincent. She was also preceded in death by one step-grandson, Chad Harper. \ She was a retired production line worker for General Electric. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Post #6 Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family, church, traveling, auctions and yard sales. \ She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Oscar Lee Locke of Madisonville; her stepmother, Ann Vincent of Bremen, KY; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Shirley Pryor of Madisonville; one daughter, Darlene Stokes of Madisonville; two stepdaughters, Sandra Curneal and Sharon Locke, both of Madisonville one stepson, Walter Locke of Madisonville; one brother Donald Moore of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Cannon and Rev. Heath Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and on Friday after 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Merle Mahr Cancer Center, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Green River Hospice.
