Bettye Jean Threlkeld Daugherty Obituary (1935 - 2004)

Mrs. Bettye Threlkeld Daugherty, 68, of Madisonville, KY, died Sunday, January 25, 2004, at 4:00 P.M., at her residence. \ Born July 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Earl Justin Lambert. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Daugherty, in February 2001. \ She began her nursing career at Cardwell Hospital in Providence, KY, and had retired as an LPN from West Side Hospital in Nashville, TN. \ She is survived by her mother, Virginia Lambert Richey of Madisonville; two daughters, Mrs. Dianne Lear of Nebo, KY, and Mrs. Teresa Abby Phillips of Nashville, TN; one half sister, Lorene Fergeson of Evansville, IN; one half brother, J. T. Lambert of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. \ Funeral service will be Thursday, January 29, 2004, at 9:30 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, TN, at 1:00 P.M. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2004, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 8:00 A.M. until the serivce time on Thursday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \
