Bremen Ferrell Jr.

Bremen Douglas Ferrell Jr., 70, of Robards, KY, left this world on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY.

Early Life
He was born on August 18, 1955, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Bremen Douglas Ferrell Sr. and Ruth Ferrell. Bremen was a proud graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School, Class of 1973.

Career
Bremen was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He worked multiple jobs throughout his life and had a long career at York International Corporation in Madisonville until its closing. He later retired from Tyson Foods in Robards, KY.

Family and Personal Life
In 1974, he married Beverly Mae Bowles. Together they had two children, Ladonya Michelle Kris Dunlap and Bremen DeWayne Ferrell Melissa Ferrell, who preceded him in death on July 26, 2007. In 2005, he married Emma Ferrell and lovingly helped raise James Ray Bingemer of Henderson, KY.

Bremen enjoyed watching old television shows such as Leave It to Beaver, riding motorcycles, fast cars, and especially his 1967 Camaro. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished his family and the time he spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bremen DeWayne Ferrell; his former wife, Beverly Mae Bowles; his parents, Bremen Douglas Ferrell Sr. and Ruth Ferrell; and his sister, Rhonda Jo Herald “Sissy”.

Survivors
Survivors include his wife, Emma Ferrell; his daughter, Ladonya Michelle Kris Dunlap; James Ray Bingemer of Henderson, KY; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

In keeping with Bremen’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. He wanted to be remembered for the way he lived, not for his death. We will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Please keep the family in your prayers.
