Cindy Jean Unland

Cindy Jean Unland, 76, of Madisonville, KY, passed away peacefully Sunday March 24, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was born May 11, 1947 in Evansville, IN to the late Virginia "Chick" Dorris Oskins. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Marsh.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Bruce Unland; two daughters, Rian (Matt) McGuyer and Jami Unland both of Madisonville and two grandchildren, Aubrie and Ashbie McGuyer.
Cindy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and the Homemakers at the Pennyrile Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, getting to all 50 states and a few countries. She loved watching her granddaughters play sports, never missing a game.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home Madisonville Chapel with Bro. Norris DeBerry officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday until the service time at the funeral home.
