Cloie Dell Rager Obituary (1934 - 2007)

\ Mrs. Cloie Dell Rager, 73, of Madisonville, KY, died Friday, October 5, 2007, at 4:35 P.M., at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. \ She was born September 23, 1934, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Robert & Mable Hawkins Boze. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Rager Jr. in 1982; two sisters, Carolyn Reader and Inez Nickelson and three brothers, William Boze, Jewell Boze and Wilburn Kenneth Boze. \ She was the owner and operator of Darn Good Alterations & Consignment and was a member of Earlington Assembly of God in Earlington, KY. \ Mrs. Rager is survived by a daughter, Kelley Rager of Madisonville; two sons, Johnie Neil Rager of Terre Haute, IN, and Terry Lynn Rager of St. Charles, KY; a sister, Dorothy Scisneros of Denver, CO; a brother, Steve Boze of Owensboro, KY; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at 2:00 P.M., at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
