Cora Elizabeth \Libby\"" Jackson Obituary (1930 - 2011)

Cora Elizabeth Jackson of Owensboro, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away Friday evening at Hillcrest Health Center in Owensboro. Known as Libby to her family and friends who loved her, she was a very special person to each of them. Our mother and grandmother will be greatly missed. \ She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vada Rickard and her two sisters, Ann Pogrotsky and Betty Todd. \ Ms. Jackson is survived by her four children: Sherrie (Butch) Oglesby of Earlington, Debbie Troop of Owensboro, Sandy (Harry) DeBandi of Madisonville and Troy (Pat) Jackson of Henderson, KY. Her grandchildren: Chris Oglesby, Galadrea Vanover, Sara Jackson, Danielle Stringer, Brandi Wilcher, Meagan Jackson and Myron Stringer. Her great-grandchildren: Harper Oglesby, Jed Vanover, Ayla Vanover, Lucy Jackson and Jay Jackson. \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 28, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jeffrey officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. \ \ \
