Delmar Earl Alexander Obituary (1942 - 2010)

Mr. Delmar Earl Alexander, 67, of Boonville, IN passed away at 2:15 P.M., on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his residence. \ He was born October 22, 1942 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Delmar David Alexander and Verdia Mae Wiles Alexander of Dalton, KY. She was also preceeded in death by one sister, Yvonne Alexander. \ Mr. Alexander was a coal miner mechanic for Amax Coal. \ In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Cyndee (Willie) L. Durbin and Sharon (Troy) Hardin of Caneyville, KY; three sons, Jim (Diane) Alexander, David (Michelle) Alexander and Tim (Tina) Alexander all of Boonville; one brother, Dennis Brown of Eustis, FL; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. \ The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. George W. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, KY. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M., Monday and 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \
